Hidden Artists Collective

Hidden Artists Collective partners with people who are experiencing homelessness to cultivate self-worth and increase community engagement through their participation in visual arts programming.
Hidden Artists Collective works to:
• Build technical art skills with a heavy focus on creativity as a tool for our lives
• Grow and refine life skills that will lead participants to be more successful in building healthy relationships, first and foremost, with themselves and understand how relationship with self has a direct influence on where, when, and how they build relationships with others and within the larger communities they are a part of
• Empower participants through self-guided/self-directed art projects that build self-
confidence, cultivate self-worth, and invest new perspective on social and community
issues
• Exhibit and publicize expression and opinion from silenced members of our communities
• Create partnerships with art centers, schools, and educators that will encourage them to deepen engagement with vulnerable populations
