Madeline Bleiweiss

Madeline Bleiweiss

Bio: Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio; it is the best place Madeline loves to call home. After graduating Indiana University in May of 2009 with a Bachelors of Science in Public Affairs, Madeline did some sole searching in Washington, DC where she had done previous work. Attempting to understand the basis of her degree, she realized her future career path wasn't matching to her true interests. Upon coming home to Cleveland, Madeline observed the current brain drain of people in their 20's and 30's moving to larger cities. She realized there was nothing she would like better than for people to see her hometown as she saw it. Madeline began work at the Cleveland Hillel Foundation as the Coordinator of Graduate Student Programs, planning events and building social networks for students. Each event succeeded greatly to years past, and, as the year progressed, Madeline saw a spark in Cleveland that was ready for a flame - the young Jewish community. Madeline volunteers heavily for the Temple Tifereth Israel, she enjoys volunteering at nursing homes, meeting new people, running, creativity, politics, good food, and LeBron James. With Madeline's ongoing passion for Cleveland, culture, and Judaism, she hopes to combine and channel her energy into a big change for Cleveland's young community.

Madeline's Project: Her venture's mission is to inspire, engage, and motivate Cleveland's Jewish community in order to create and therefore promote Cleveland in a youthful, trendy, desirable light for singles and young couples.

Madeline is energizing Cleveland's community by building social networks and fostering young Jewish life, while creating  a model for other cities. Join Madeline's campaign!
