Jacob Markey

Jacob Markey is a communications intern with PresenTense as the final part of his participation on Otzma, a ten-month volunteer project in Israel sponsored by The Jewish Federations of North America. Over the past eight months, he has volunteered in schools teaching English to Israeli children and worked at community centers with kids and the elderly, while also studying Hebrew and learning more about Israel. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he is excited to be with PresenTense to help spread its message of creating a better world.
