Highlights of Pitch Night 2009
>>
Being an interviewer was quite an easy job at the PresenTense Institute Pitch Night 2009. As I began to ask guests, PT staff, fellows and interns about the evening, everyone began describing their experience enthusiastically. "Amazing..." boasted some, "It gets better every year," described others, and most in the most blunt fashion "Fantastic! Donate money to these pioneers!!"
Pitch Night was a great success, and we are so honored to have hosted over 250 guests at the Bible Lands Museum in Jerusalem.
Check out some of the clips below to see, and hear, the buzz surrounding pitch night:

Ready, Steady, Go: Pitch Night 2009
>>

In approximately 34 hours, PresenTense Institute 2009 will come to a close with the long awaited Pitch Night. The institute is buzzing with energy, nerves and the occasional pita and hummus break. After six weeks of the refining ideas, skill building, business management and networking, Pitch Night will serve as a launching pad for each venture.
Fellows will pitch their idea to an audience of over 200 Jewish leaders, educators and community members in 15 seconds flat. After the quick pitch, the night will continue with a venture exhibition, where guests will have the opportunity to personally interact with fellows.
As Rebecca Polivy of the Follow Up Network says, "I'm ready, let's do this."

NU Campaign at PresenTense
>>
David Kramer of the NU campaign came to PresenTense this afternoon to discuss his social action venture.
Using t-shirts, Kramer has launched a social action campaign that raises awareness and funds for the Sderot community. Proceeds from the "15 second" t-shirts go to the Sderot Community Treatment Theater for high school girls. The theater aims to expose the public to the real live experiences of the Sderot citizens.
