A generation ago, Jerusalem was not only the political capital of Israel but also the country's most important cultural center. In recent years, Jerusalem has lost centrality and relevance in almost every sphere of Israeli cultural life. But now things are going to change, especially if Itay Mautner and Eyal Sher have something to say about it.

Join the PresenTense Jerusalem Winter Fellowship on Monday, February 22nd at 20:00 for a discussion of Jerusalem's potential as an international cultural hub. Come hear Itay Mautner, a leading figure on the young Israeli art scene, and Eyal Sher, Director of Culture for the Jerusalem Foundation. This discussion will be moderated by Karen Brunwasser, Deputy Director of the Jerusalem Season of Culture.
