PresenTense on the Road

I'm on the road in North America for PresenTense, just having spent two days at the Orthodox Forum where I spoke about the Odyssey Years phenomenon and its implications for modern Orthodoxy. I'll post more about that once I assimilate the fascinating conversations that took place among a group of people whose Jewish learning and knowledge base was mind blowing. I tried to turn the conversation towards Modern Orthodoxy within a broader framework of Jewish purpose. More on that down the road.

Today I'm in NYC where I'll teach PTSchool at the UJA Federation of New York. A full house of organizational professionals will spend the day with me learning about advanced Transmedia Tools and Strategies. This is a level II seminar and part of our larger PTSchool training course.

In the survey that we ran in the lead up to the seminar, one of the participants, whose organization works with congregational leaders, asked how they might find rabbis and similar types to follow on Twitter. I'll share one suggestion I'm going to make as a resource for everyone in the community also wanting to get their finger on the pulse of a particular vertical demographic: Google "we follow" and you'll find a website devoted to building Twitter user lists of particular market segments. Rabbis is one of them. You can use that to find people to follow.
