PT10: The Digital Issue is about to launch -- making it the first-ever magazine issue produced and released on Google Wave! Get ready to be a part of digital history by Waving into the conversation (and if you don't have Wave, let us know so we can get you an invite to participate!)
Here's a sneak preview of what's to come, from PT contributor Ezra Shanken.
PresenTense was founded as an all-volunteer organization, and to this day we continue to rely heavily on the contributions of our volunteers from around the world - magazine writers and editors, steering committee members, Creative Zionist Circle organizers, event planners, and more! We would not be here without their commitment and dedication.
Over the next few weeks, we're featuring interviews with members of our volunteer community. Meet our volunteers!
Evin Simon
What has been your involvement with PresenTense?
I've been a Copy and Associate Editor on the past 3 issues of PTMagazine, and am anxiously awaiting to work on the digital issue.
Tell us a little about yourself and what you do (outside of PT).
I'm a full-time nurse's aide working with the elderly in Columbus, OH. I'm also a part-time student preparing to apply to graduate school for Speech Pathology.
What do you get out of your involvement with PT? (Why do you find it meaningful?)
I really enjoy helping the writers and other editors make a piece fantastic. It's rewarding to see an article grow throughout the creative process and then appear, hopefully flawless, in print!
